The coil gate spring is used mainly on outdoor gates as an auto closing mechanism. The auto closing mechanism automatically shuts the gate after opening.

For installation - 1) Place one end of the gate spring onto the gate post and fasten with screws. 2) Fix the other end to the fence post with screws. 3) Tighten the tension nut with wrench.
